I can’t believe that I missed it but yesterday we hit our 1 YEAR MARK!
That’s right!
We will be getting married APRIL 7, 2013!
How did my watch make me miss this? Well, my watch doesn’t know when months only have 30 or 31 (or 29) days. So my watch has been a day off and when I looked at the date on Friday it said April 5. Meaning I thought that today was going to be the 7th and not the 8th. We spent almost all of yesterday working on the yard that I didn’t realize it was actually the 7th. I hope you will forgive me for not posting this yesterday!
I am so excited about our wedding date!
As you may remember, our the first date we had picked out was special to me because of one of my favorite bible verses. Well, this date is also special in that way. Here are two of my favorite bible verses that are in chapter 4 of their respect books and both verses are part of verses 7-13.
Philippians 4:7-13
7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
10 I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that at last you renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. 11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
John 4:7-13
7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. 13 By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.
April 7, 2013 is going to be the perfect day no matter what the day holds because I get to marry my best friend. I can’t wait!
